While awarding points for seniority to civil servants, a maximum of thirty points will be awarded at the following rate for working in the following category currently in force
(a) at the rate of 3.75 marks per annum for working in gazetted third and second class posts,
(b) at the rate of 3 marks every year for serving in a gazetted first class post,
(c) at the rate of 2.5 marks every year for working in gazetted third and second class posts. But,
(1) While calculating points for seniority, points will be given in terms of Damasahi for more than one year, each month or day.
(2) For the purpose of this clause, no marks shall be given for the period of absence or stay on extraordinary leave.
